Monroe County Educational Televeision (ME TV)

The Monroe County ISD started an educational television channel in 2004.  We broadcast to three cable companies and reach over fifty five thousand homes 24/7.  We rebroadcast NASA, our CG and original content produced in-house. 

We have converted a large storage room into a fully soundproofed multi-camera SD studio.  We now have full functioning broadcast quality video and multimedia production capabilities.  We have had many collaborative projects with the community and other organizations.  With the ability to do multi-camera productions in a studio setting, we are now producing original content on a regular basis for METV along with the rebroadcast of two satellite feeds.  All of the projects produced at the ISD are to the highest award winning standards.  I’ve applied my unique work experience, training and continuous research into evolving multimedia technology to grow the Video & Multimedia department.

Broadcast Information

Local information is broadcast using TargetVision. Our other programming is currently provided by NASA Educational TV and Annenberg/CPB.
