Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the Monroe County Intermediate School District (MCISD) website. As Monroe County's regional educational services agency, the MCISD provides services that are shared by Monroe County's nine local school districts. The MCISD's educational services involve partnerships with local districts, community agencies, area businesses and other intermediate school districts throughout Michigan.

As Superintendent, I can attest to the fact that the MCISD also employs some of Michigan's most outstanding educators and support personnel. Together they strive to afford Monroe County students with excellent and equal educational opportunities. Thank you for your interest in the MCISD.
